Enter dates as dd/mm/yyyy. A duty period may contain multiple leave / non-duty periods. Use ๏ผ‹ Add non-duty period in the row. The system totals the non-duty periods and deducts them from Gross Days. Each separately entered non-duty period is counted and the days are added together (for example, 4 + 6 = 10). These deductions affect only EL earned on the left and are not copied to the right-side ledger.

This right-side section is an independent sequential EL ledger. Entries are applied according to their date in chronological order together with the duty-period credits. The maximum EL in credit is 300 days. Use Earned Leave for leave taken and Earned Leave Surrender for surrendered leave. Both are deducted sequentially from the current balance. For example, an ELS of 30 days dated 24/07/2013 is deducted after the duty ending 23/07/2013, so 273 6/11 becomes 243 6/11. A later duty period of 379 days at 1/11 earns 34 5/11, making the balance 278. For surrender, enter only the date and number of days. Balance is displayed as whole days plus fraction, e.g. 25 4/11.
